The reason why you should start exercising

The convenient development of modern civilization has greatly changed our lifestyle. The number of ‘body activities’ is greatly reduced due to automated living. It should be noted that heart-blood-related diseases have topped the list every year since 1980, and all six causes of death, except for random accidents, are “adult diseases” closely related to individual lack of exercise.

The human body is supposed to maintain or improve the functioning of its organs by doing many physical activities. Exercise improves cardiopulmonary and lung functions, softens joints and delays the reduction of bone minerals, thus strengthening bones. Exercise also keeps the arteries young as blood volume increases and blood viscosity decreases, reducing neutral fat and body fat.

the health effects of exercise

The effects of exercise on health are as follows.

1. Reduction of early death

Exercise reduces the risk of early death from heart disease, cancer and other causes. People who do about seven hours of physical activity during a week are 40 percent less likely to die early than those who do less than 30 minutes of physical activity a week.

2. Prevention of diabetes and metabolic diseases

If more than three of the five indicators – high blood pressure, abdominal obesity, high-density (HDL) cholesterol reduction, increased neutral fat, and impaired glucose tolerance (the middle state of normal blood sugar and diabetes) – exceed the standard level, regular physical activity is called metabolic syndrome, as well as reducing the risk of developing diabetes.

3. Promote musculoskeletal health

Exercise increases the cartilage thickness of the joints through muscle and skeletal system effects, increases muscle strength, muscle endurance, and improves joint flexibility by making ligaments large and strong, while helping calcium in bones and preventing osteoporosis.

4. Healthy Weight Control

Many studies suggest that 150 to 300 minutes of breaking news per week enables stable weight retention in a short period of time. Muscle strengthening exercises are also slightly less effective than aerobic exercise, but they help maintain weight.

5. Reduced cancer incidence

Exercise is reported to be effective in reducing the risk of colon cancer by about 40 to 50 percent by reducing the time food passes through the colon, reducing the risk of lung cancer and breast cancer by 30 to 40 percent, and preventing colon cancer.

6. Promoting Mental Health

Exercise increases blood flow to brain tissue, which increases oxygen supply to the brain, so it makes you feel comfortable, helps release salt from the body through sweat, and helps you sleep better, which helps mental health. Depression occurs when brain tissue is lacking in the secretion of epinephrine and noepinephrine hormones, and increased secretion of these hormones by exercise can help cure them.

These effects appear in people who have done medium- and high-strength aerobic exercises and muscle-strengthening exercises, which are more effective when they combine three to five days of aerobic exercise (more than 300 minutes per week) and muscle-strengthening exercises for 30 to 60 minutes at a time.
